Red hot Miami Marlins want Bama now too

Miami Marlins celebrate fifth win of season versus Baltimore Orioles in 2020
Evan Habeeb - USA TODAY Sports

The “We Want Bama” posters have made it to Major League Baseball.

Despite having a 60-game season and a Coronavirus outbreak happening on its team, the Miami Marlins are first in the National League Eastern Division with a 5-1 record.

After its 1-0 victory over the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday, the Marlins are on a four-game winning streak. On the heels of the win, its Twitter page posted a photo of NL East standings and a “We Want Bama” poster. Everyone wants to be the best or compete against the best and when the Alabama Crimson Tide is looked at as one of the elite programs in athletics, Nick Saban has the standard people love to hate.

Luckily for the Marlins, this will serve as a funny joke for them.

However, college football teams will battle a Crimson Tide unit that is hungry for a national championship.
