WATCH: Alabama practicing on its bye week in gearing up for LSU Tigers

As Alabama is getting players healed up and rested over the bye week, Nick Saban and company are also hard at work on the practice field.

After pitching its first shutout of the season versus Mississippi State, the Crimson Tide is focused on the Tigers of Louisiana State University for next week.

It suffered a tough, 41-46 loss to the Tigers at Bryant-Denny Stadium in 2019.

Despite the program having a 2-3 record this year, the Tide knows how dangerous LSU can be at any moment.

On Wednesday, Alabama Athletics had cameras on the quarterbacks, wide receivers, cornerbacks, defensive linemen and tight ends.

Ronald Williams Jr., a junior college transfer from Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College, continues to progress from the arm injury he endured in fall practice. He had his left arm wrapped in the video, but did participate in drills with the corners.

Alabama gets some work in during its bye week

Alabama has been practicing fundamental drills throughout the week.

Only one receiver donned a scout team number. Someone wore No. 1 to represent Kayshon Boutte of LSU.

The 6-foot, 185-pound freshman has 12 catches for 168 yards with one touchdown.
