Sources: Alabama football looks to pull LB Henry To’o To’o out of NCAA transfer portal

When there is smoke, a fire is not too far behind.

The University of Alabama won a College Football Playoff National Championship in 2020; however, Nick Saban stated it was victorious despite ‘okay’ defense.  It allowed two teams to score 30 or more points, but Saban wants the Crimson Tide to recapture the essence of being dominant on both sides of the ball. To accomplish the feat, Alabama has to have game-changing players.

Since the NCAA recruiting violations were reported at the University of Tennessee, nine coaches were terminated — including head coach Jeremy Pruitt. Henry To’o To’o, a talented inside linebacker, was one of a few players that entered the transfer portal.

A native of Sacramento, Calif., To’o To’o was targeted for Alabama’s 2019 recruiting class yet he chose to sign with Tennessee.

The 6-foot-2, 225-pounder has been very productive through two seasons.

He’s recorded 148 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, four pass breakups, five quarterback hurries, and one interception in 23 career games.

Last year, To’o To’o led the Vols in tackles (76) and tackles for loss (10). A lot of conversation has been on social media on the potential of Alabama getting To’o To’o out of the transfer portal.
