When the Kansas City Chiefs went up 27-0 in the first half against the Denver Broncos, things were thought to be all but wrapped up on Sunday.

It’s been a difficult year already for Denver as it hasn’t come anywhere close to its preseason expectations after acquiring star quarterback Russell Wilson. This has allowed frustrations to fester throughout the roster and today it boiled over to the field, with wide receiver Jerry Jeudy.

Jeudy was visibly upset with an official with what appeared to be some type of missed call near the end of the first half which resulted in him going ballistic and even coming into contact with the referee.

Despite the anger from the difficult start, the adversity lit a fire under Jeudy who went on to have one of the best games of his career.

Jeudy finished the game with eight receptions for 73 yards and three touchdowns as he helped lead the Broncos back from the deficit.

Although the lead was cut down to just one possession it wasn’t enough for the Broncos to get the win over the Chiefs as it fell 34-28. But Jeudy’s display possibly shows that the offense that has struggled all year is finally starting to put things together and gain momentum for the future.
