Former Alabama receiver works out for NFL playoff team

A former Alabama wide receiver is working out with an NFL team that has a first-round bye in the playoffs.

Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reported on Slade Bolden working out for the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday.

Bolden, who was not selected in the 2022 NFL Draft, got signed to the Baltimore Ravens’ practice squad.

He suffered an injury and got cut, but the Louisiana native had healed up. He is getting another opportunity to pursue a professional career. Bolden caught 42 passes in 2021 for 408 yards and three touchdowns. He played for the Tide from 2018 to 2021, helping the Tide win three SEC Championships and a College Football Playoff National Championship.
