Texas WR Josiah Martin feels ‘nothing like’ Alabama after visit

Josiah Martin

Josiah Martin visited Alabama last week for the first time since picking up an offer from the Crimson Tide in the March.

Martin attends Guyer High School in Texas and garners a three-star rating from multiple recruiting sites. He holds more than 30 D1 offers with offers from Arkansas, TCU and others.

The Texas product feels his Alabama visit lived up to its expectations.

“Alabama was one of the best visits,” Martin told Touchdown Alabama. “From hospitality, coaches, staff, food, the campus, nothing like it. It lives up to the hype.”

Nick Saban caught up with Martin during his visit and assured him of his offer.

“Saban re-offered me in his office and told me that he wants to see me at his camp in June to see me move in person,” Martin said. “Looking at past recruits, they all went through the camp before. I’m up for this fight to prove myself. I’ve been doing it this long.”

At 6-foot and 170 pounds, Martin is one of the best route runners in the 2024 recruiting class. He knows how to create separation off his release at the line of scrimmage. He is also explosive out of his breaks and can gain separation at the top of routes.
