What did we learn about the inside linebackers from Alabama’s A-Day?

Alabama has not had a fearsome tandem at inside linebacker since Shaun Dion Hamilton and Rashaan Evans in 2017.

Dylan Moses and Christian Harris were good enough to help the Crimson Tide to a national championship in 2020, but the offense under Steve Sarkisian was credited more for winning the title. Alabama did not get it done with Harris and Henry To’oto’o in 2021 and it struggled with To’oto’o and Jaylen Moody in 2022. The return of Kevin Steele as defensive coordinator has the position playing better. Tide fans were impressed in the spring game with how inside linebackers were flying to the football.
