Thompson freshman QB Trent Seaborn enjoys Alabama gameday atmosphere

Thompson High School’s freshman quarterback and Alabama target, Trent Seaborn was blown away by the atmosphere during the Alabama vs. Texas game.

Seaborn is a 2027 quarterbacks prospect, who has a national offer list next to his name with offers from Alabama, Auburn, Oregon, Hawaii and others.

The freshman was in attendance for the Crimson Tide’s loss to Texas. He expressed he knows the Tide will bounce back after the defeat.

“The game itself was awesome to watch, although I know the result was disappointing for the Alabama side,” Seaborn said. “But I know they’ll bounce back, learn from their mistakes and work hard to improve. They’re not going to let this pull them apart, I think it’ll push them to lean on each other more and lock into the process.”

The energy in Bryant-Denny Stadium was high during last Saturday’s matchup between the Longhorns and the Tide, and Seaborn felt it was like ‘nothing’ he had seen before.

“The atmosphere was insane,” said Seaborn. “I’ve been to Alabama games before, and it’s always top-notch. All the GAs, support staff, coordinators, position coaches – they always make me feel at home and feel like family. But when we got onto the field that’s when it was different. The energy from the fans was like nothing I’ve seen before. From before the kickoff to the final seconds, fans were going nuts. It’s everything you could want in a college game. I think what also made it special was being able to enjoy it with a bunch of my teammates: Cam Pritchett, Colben Landrew, Anquon Fegans and Dantwon Fegans were there.”

The Tide and Seaborn will look to continue to build their relationship throughout the season as he attempts to help the Thompson Warriors remain undefeated.
