Jalen Milroe gives possible solution to Alabama football’s snap issues

Alabama football has struggled with snapping the football consistently through the first five games of the season.

Seth McLaughlin is the Crimson Tide’s starting center, and he has had a variety of bad snaps this season. Some snaps have been really low, others have been high and a few have been too early. This has been a continuous problem for Alabama despite who Alabama’s quarterback is.

The Tide’s starting quarterback Jalen Milroe says he and McLaughlin will spend time this week, working on snaps.

“I take full ownership of that,” Milroe said. “I should be more vocal, more louder. So, it allows the snaps to be on point. I take full ownership of that. Going to Mississippi State is a loud environment, and it took me being more vocal at some points in the game. So, like that’s definitely something me and Seth are gonna get together about. That’s not something to worry about. We’re gonna build and grow from it and learn from it.”

Nick Saban talked about snaps being a consistent problem for Alabama on Monday.

“We gotta have just a little better focus, I think, on the importance of the snap,” Saban said. “Because this has been a pretty consistent issue.”
