Alabama football is expected to get Tyler Younger on campus for an official visit next weekend after he reported an offer from the Crimson Tide on Sunday.
Younger attends Greater Atlanta Christian High School in Georgia, and he is a 2027 edge prospect. The rising senior is now considering Alabama, Rutgers, UCF and others. The Tide is expected to host him for an official visit next weekend, Younger tells Touchdown Alabama.
At 6-foot-5 and 230 pounds, Younger is an edge defender who shows strength at the point of attack and flashes an ability to make tackles in space. He will have an opportunity to line up at the bandit position or at Wolf linebacker if he were to commit to the Tide.
Alabama currently does not hold a commitment from an outside linebacker or edge prospect.
