Alabama football received good news this weekend.

Jalen Hale, a sophomore wide receiver, suffered a knee injury in Tuesday’s practice. Kalen DeBoer, the Crimson Tide’s head coach, called it ‘significant’ and said he will miss the rest of spring practice. DeBoer also stated more evaluations will be done to see when Hale can return to action. The native Texan released a statement to social media, sharing to Tide fans that he is out of the hospital. Hale said he is ‘moving around a little bit’ and waiting to get to his next process to start rehabilitation.

“It wasn’t as bad as it could have been so I’m blessed and thankful for that I will return stronger than ever thanks everyone your support,” Hale said in a social media post.

Alabama is thankful that the injury was not as severe as originally thought. Hale came to Alabama in the 2023 recruiting class.

He caught five passes last season for 148 yards, including a 33-yard touchdown reception from Jalen Milroe versus Ole Miss.

Tide nation looks forward to Hale making a complete recovery.
