The Crimson Tide is focused on bouncing back after a disappointing loss to Vanderbilt.
Kalen DeBoer updated a trio of injuries during Wednesday’s SEC Coaches Teleconference, including two on offense. According to the availability report, wide receivers Kobe Prentice and Kendrick Law are ‘questionable’ for this weekend. Prentice suffered a hit the head against the Commodores, while Law sustained an injury against Georgia and did not play last week.
DeBoer said both have progressed in practice and are on track to play on Saturday.
He is not ready to say both are full go, but he is pleased with the strides they are making.

Yhonzae Pierre, a reserve outside linebacker, is ‘out’ this week. No one knows his injury from the Vandy matchup, but DeBoer said the team will be further evaluating him. The 6-foot-3, 239-pounder had been getting extensive playing time as of late. Pierre, a former five-star, came in the Tide’s 2023 class from Eufala (Ala.) High School.
Hopefully, Alabama will get him back soon.
