Former Alabama quarterback, Dylan Lonergan was named the starting quarterback for Boston College.
Lonergan began his college career at the University of Alabama as a former four-star. He spent two years in Tuscaloosa before transferring at the end of the 2024 football season.
Bill O’Brien, Alabama’s former offensive coordinator, is the head coach of the Eagles.
Lonergan will be one of two former Alabama quarterbacks starting for a different program in the upcoming season with Eli Holstein starting at quarterback for Pitt.
