On Thursday, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes appeared on ESPN’s Get Up to hype up this weekend’s WWE Wrestlepalooza event and talk some college football.
Ahead of the highly anticipated Alabama vs. Georgia game next Saturday, Rhodes predicted the outcome and shared his thoughts on ESPN’s Get Up.
“Gunner Stockton’s playing great,” Rhodes said. “I just need one of those Kirby Smart pep talks, one of those run through a brick wall, and I think they got it. I don’t think Alabama is who they used to be, and I’m not taking anything away from Alabama, but I’m going with the Dogs.”
Last season, the American Nightmare was College Gameday’s Guest Picker for the Georgia-Tennessee game, and he correctly predicted a Georgia win.
Alabama will travel to Athens to play Georgia on Sept. 27, and Rhodes will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre this Saturday at Wrestlepalooza streaming on ESPN+.
