Former Alabama defensive lineman, Jesse Williams is looking to enjoy his time in Tuscaloosa this weekend to the fullest.

Williams played for the Crimson Tide in 2011 and 2012, finishing his career with 61 total tackles and 1.5 sacks. He was a member of two of the Crimson Tide’s National Championship teams. He also won a Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks.

The Australia native suffered a heart attack earlier this year and is currently unsure when he will return to Tuscaloosa after this weekend due to his health issues. However, Williams remains positive and wants to use this weekend as an opportunity to cheer on Alabama in person and interact with as many people as possible.

“With my Current Heart Health situation it may be my last Bama Game in Tuscaloosa for a while,” Williams posted to X. “I’m pumped to be here! Alabama feels more like Home to me than anywhere else on Earth. Grateful every time I get to be back here! If you’re in town for the Game come find me!”

Former Alabama wide receiver, Marquis Maze took to X to show support for Williams after he made this post.

The Crimson Tide are set to take on Vanderbilt this weekend at home.
