Ja’Hyde Brown made his way back to Tuscaloosa to visit the Alabama Crimson Tide for the second time this season over the weekend.
Brown is a top wide receiver target for Alabama in the 2027 recruiting cycle. He garners a four-star rating form multiple recruiting sites at the moment.
The electric wideout’s latest trip to Tuscaloosa allowed his mother to see why he is excited to be a prospect Alabama is actively recruiting.
“Everything that it’s always been,” Brown said when asked how his visit went. “Bama is consistent, glad my mom made the trip this time to see what I have been excited about for herself.”
Alabama got the Kentucky product on campus earlier this season and made it clear he was wanted in Tuscaloosa.
“It was an amazing game-day atmosphere,” Brown said. “That place was rocking. Coaches were amazing, reassured me all day that I’m their guy in the slot for the 2027 class, told me if I’m ready to commit, I can today and if I want to wait I can do that as well. There’s no pressure but wanted to let me know that they’re ready if I am, very transparent with me while there.”
Brown is continuing to enjoy the recruiting process at the moment.
“I’m just enjoying the process,” Brown told Touchdown Alabama. “I’m a 16-year-old junior in high school trying to win my third straight state title. It’s a few schools that I love, I’m going to keep evaluating everyone along with my family.”
At 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds, Brown is an explosive wide receiver, who brings a dynamic skillset to the football field. He has been making plays throughout the season for Christian Academy.
