For the second time this season, Alabama will look to knock off a top-five Georgia team away from home. After beating the Bulldogs, 24-21, in Athens, Georgia earlier this year, the Crimson Tide will look to repeat the feat Saturday in Atlanta in the SEC Championship Game.
No. 9 Alabama (10-2, 7-1) finished the season as the top seed in the SEC standings. However, No. 3 Georgia (11-1, 7-1) enters Saturday’s matchup as a 2.5-point favorite.
Alabama is 45-26-4 all-time against Georgia and has won 10 of the 11 meetings between the two programs. That being said, the Bulldogs’ last win in the series came in the 2022 national championship game when they avenged a previous loss to the Tide earlier that season.
Here are five questions heading into Saturday’s matchup.
