Former Alabama starting right tackle, Wilkin Formby has committed to transfer to Texas A&M. Formby is a native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and he is a former four-star recruit.

The Alabama native signed with the Tide as a member of the 2023 recruiting class and spent three years in Tuscaloosa. The 6-foot-7 offensive lineman played in every Alabama game in 2025, primarily starting at right tackle or right guard.

The Tide will face off against Formby and the Aggies in October when the Tide takes on Texas A&M at home on Oct. 24, 2026.

Formby’s departure to College Station is playing a major role in how the Tide is choosing to attack going after offensive linemen in the portal. Alabama is targeting multiple offensive linemen at different positions, and it has already secured a commitment from one in Kaden Strayhorn.
