The Cleveland Browns are exploring the option of drafting another quarterback, and Ty Simpson is on the organization’s draft board, per Cleveland.com writer Mary Kay Cabot.
The Browns currently have three quarterbacks on their roster. Cleveland drafted Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders during the 2025 NFL Draft, and each rookie started games for the team during the 2025 season. Deshaun Watson is also still on Cleveland’s roster.
Cabot reports the Browns also have Packers’ backup quarterback Malik Willis on their board as a possible target.
All signs point to the Cleveland Brown new head coach Todd Monken searching for external options at quarterback.
Simpson is set to meet with teams and throw at the NFL Combine this week.
