Kalib Spivey is seeing his recruitment take shape with multiple official visits locked in.

Spivey is a 2027 edge prospect and one of the most underrated prospects in the state of Alabama. Most recruiting sites have him listed as a three-star recruit, but his offer list resembles one of a higher-rated and ranked prospect. Miami, Florida State, Auburn, Clemson and Duke are recruiting Spivey the hardest at the moment.

The junior has official visits locked in with Duke, Clemson and Auburn. The Blue Devils will host him May 29-31, Clemson will host him on June 12th weekend and Auburn will host him June 19-21. Florida State and Miami are talking with Spivey about taking an official visit.

Clemson is the latest program to offer Spivey, and it is an offer he is grateful to have.

“It means a lot to me knowing they don’t offer a lot of kids and knowing that I can tell they really believe in me as a player and trust that I can come in and be a difference maker,” Spivey said.

Spivey is eyeing a summer commitment. He wants to commit in July, but he does not have a commitment date set.

At 6-foot-2 and 245 pounds, Spivey is an explosive edge defender who closes on quarterbacks with violent intentions. He also possesses the potential to be a versatile defender at the next level.
