These position groups lack trusted depth early in spring practice for Alabama

The position groups in this article can change into being ones with trusted depth provided the players mature throughout the session. We will review these positions again in summer workouts and fall camp to make amends, but now let’s dive into the conversation.

Alabama has multiple positions with trusted depth in spring practice, but it also has spots the coaching staff is not ready to trust yet.

Confidence in these areas can be developed throughout practices, especially in scrimmages before the A-Day Game on April 11.

Below are the positions that lack trusted depth.

Running Back

Alabama does not have trusted depth at running back early in spring practice, but Daniel Hill and others can get it there.

Alabama has talent at running back, but inconsistent performances and injuries make it an untrusted position for depth.
