Kalen DeBoer enters his third season, and the trait of “team” over “individual” has taken shape at arguably the most important position. Alabama’s offensive line was awful in 2025 with creating balance in the run and pass game.

Ryan Grubb, the Crimson Tide’s offensive coordinator, made the rushing attack a point of strong emphasis in spring practice.

DeBoer made the run game a priority in hiring a new offensive line coach (Adrian Klemm) and tight ends coach (Richard Owens) to help improve it. Michael Carroll, a sophomore, returns as the lone starter from last year’s offensive front.

The Pennsylvania native and former five-star arrived as one of the top tackles in the 2025 recruiting class; however, Carroll has embraced his flexibility and moved inside to right guard. He wants to ‘help the team win’ at all costs.
