Cedrick Simmons has locked in an official visit with Alabana football after earning an offer from the Tide earlier this week.
Simmons is a 2027 wide receiver out of Selma High School in Alabama. He will be back in Tuscaloosa next weekend for an official visit with the Crimson Tide.
Alabama offered Simons after he worked out in Tuscaloosa.
“It feels amazing,” Simmons said after earning the offer. “I trusted the process.”
At 5-foot-10 and 190 pounds, Simmons is an explosive wide receiver who can be dangerous with the football in his hands. He is also an athletic wideout who has no problem rising to go and get the football in jump-ball situations.
The new Alabama target had more than 2,000 receiving yards last season.
