Mitchell Turner has announced a commitment to Ole Miss over Alabama, LSU and Texas.
Turner is a four-star defensive lineman out of Louisville High School in Mississippi. His decision leaves Alabama with 10 2027 commits and one defensive line pledge, with a commitment from Avrian Pauley.
The Tide had hosted Turner several times ahead of this decision, including for an official visit in May.
After missing out on Turner, the Tide will turn its attention to Stafford Willis’ announcement this evening. The in-state offensive lineman is set to announce a decision at 7 p.m. CST.
Alabama’s 2027 recruiting class is expected to be a smaller class.
