It did not take long for Anthony Evans to name the game he is most looking forward to this fall at SEC Media Days when a reporter asked him the question.
“Alabama,” I’ve never beat them. So, that’s something I look forward to. I need to get my get back.”
Evans now suits up for the Mississippi State Bulldogs after transferring from Georgia. The Crimson Tide beat Evans and the Bulldogs in 2023 and 2024. He had two receptions for 28 yards during the 2024 matchup.
Kamario Taylor, who is expected to start at quarterback for the Bulldogs, is also looking forward to the matchup.
“It’s a surreal feeling growing up a Mississippi State fan, like, playing Alabama in Davis Wade this year, it’s going to be… something to look forward to, give our fans something to come watch, to be excited about, especially playing that great team in Davis Wade.”
