Touchdown Alabama to live stream Mae Jemison vs. Benjamin Russell in inaugural TDA Kickoff Classsic

Touchdown Alabama will stream multiple top high school football games in Alabama across its multiple platforms throughout the 2026 high school football season.

The slate of games will kick off Friday, Aug. 21, on the campus of Alabama A&M University when Mae Jemison High School takes on Benjamin Russell High School. The game will feature impressive talent and future college football stars.

Touchdown Alabama’s Director of Recruiting and Managing Editor Justin Smith will be serving as the color commentator, and UnlockYourGame Sports’ Christian Gilbert will be on the call for play-by-play duties.

“Touchdown Alabama is excited to be adding live sports to our platform,” Touchdown Alabama’s CEO Bennie Bice said. “We believe our games will give fans across Alabama another reason to be excited for the football season and keep Touchdown Alabama as the leading independent sports news outlet in the state.”

Mae Jemison will be led by head coach Rico White. He will have his fair share of talent at his disposal this season, led by four-star offensive lineman Samuel Bailey. Bailey holds offers from Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State and a long list of other top college football programs. Other notable Mae Jemison players are Michael Crum Jr., Jachristopher Black and Bryson Shelburne-Ellison.


Benjamin Russell is led by head coach Kirk Johnson. His offense will be led by four-star quarterback and Alabama commit, Kingston Preyear. On the other side of the football, the Wildcats will have Kalib Spivey, who is committed to Georgia Tech, attempting to cause disruption on the defense.

Future games TDA will stream will be announced on a later date.
