What is the latest on former 5-Star RB EJ Crowell ahead of Alabama vs. East Carolina?

EJ Crowell continues to be on track to play against East Carolina despite the freshman being limited throughout fall camp.

Crowell is a former five-star prospect and is a native of Alabama. Fortunately for Alabama, all signs point to Crowell being ready to go Saturday, according to Alabama’s offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb.

“He was out there yesterday practicing and moving,” Grubb said. “I always leave that decision up to Jeff (Allen) “Ultimately he’s gonna be in charge of that. But EJ is, I told him yesterday, like the Wolverine, I mean the guy’s unbelievable. Him and Noah Rogers are, those guys are a different planet. So, been really, really impressive. I didn’t see any setbacks yesterday with EJ. He was cutting off of both of his feet and looked really, really good. We’ll just see how it keeps progressing.”

Alabama will take on East Carolina on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. CT.
