The Alabama Crimson Tide will face the South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday evening at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Sophomore quarterback Keelon Russell will enter the matchup fresh off the best game of his young collegiate career. Russell and the Tide will face an excellent test in Week 4 against a talented Gamecocks’ team, and Alabama will need to start strong and fast in order to secure their second SEC victory of 2026.
The Tide are set to face a familiar face this weekend as well, as former Alabama defensive lineman Kelby Collins is expected to play a significant role on South Carolina’s defense on Saturday night. Collins recently took a moment to comment on facing his former team, as the big man claims he is looking forward to playing at Bryant-Denny Stadium once again.
“Obviously being a place where I came from, spent a year making plays there and stuff like that.” Collins said. “I’m excited to get back, it’s going to be a good game. A fast, physical game. Got a lot of love for the players there, got a lot of respect for the coaches, so just excited to go there and compete.”
Collins has recorded five total tackles through the first three weeks of the 2026 season. The big man appears to be extremely confident entering Saturday’s contest, and Collins will undoubtedly look to shine against his former team in Week 4.
