Photo of Bryce Young and Jalen Hurts working out in Southern California surfaces on social media

Bryce Young drops back to pass at Alabama's Pro Day

Bryce Young is preparing for one of the most significant moments of his life.

He won a national championship in high school, became an illustrious five-star recruit, grew into stardom at the University of Alabama, and carried the Crimson Tide’s offense to new heights in two years as its starting quarterback.

Young achieved several accolades in college — including a College Football Playoff National Championship (2020), two Southeastern Conference Championships (2020, 2021), and a Heisman Memorial Trophy (2021). He is now ready to take on the National Football League and transform a franchise as possibly the No. 1 overall pick. A photo of Young in his home state of Southern California hit social media over the weekend. He was working out with C.J. Stroud, but another former Tide standout was in attendance. Jalen Hurts, a former CFP National Champion, took the Philadelphia Eagles to a Super Bowl matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. He is getting set for a massive new contract, but the native Texan took time to be around Young.

He probably shared words of wisdom with someone that is about to experience the pros. People doubted Hurts in the 2020 draft process; however, he has become a legit quarterback. One can make the argument that he should have won Most Valuable Player of the league in 2022. Hurts outplayed Patrick Mahomes in Super Bowl LVII, but the Eagles’ defense could not stop Mahomes.

It will be interesting to see who takes Young, but it is good that Hurts spent time with him.
