The majority of Alabama fans were stunned Tuesday when news of a transfer quarterback visiting the Crimson Tide hit social media.
Tyler Buchner, a Notre Dame quarterback, decided to enter the NCAA transfer portal.

Alabama is one of a few programs he is visiting, but does Nick Saban offer Buchner a scholarship? The Crimson Tide has four signal-callers on its roster, and all showed improvement in the spring game. Jalen Milroe and Ty Simpson are in the heat of a competition, but Dylan Lonergan and Eli Holstein are growing as well. Several fans reacted to a poll done by Touchdown Alabama Magazine on should the Tide pursue a quarterback from the portal. The fan base feels that Alabama should work with what it has.
