The Las Vegas Raiders have a former Alabama football player on a rookie contract.
Byron Young, a Crimson Tide alumnus, got selected at No. 70 overall in the third round of the NFL Draft. His contract is four years, $5.67 million via Spotrac. Young has a $1.12 million signing bonus and his cap number for the fall is $1.03 million.

As a native Mississippian, he totaled 48 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, four sacks, six quarterback hurries, two pass breakups, and a forced fumble.

Young helped the Crimson Tide to a College Football Playoff National Championship in 2020 and two Southeastern Conference titles in 2020 and 2021.
