Tyler Booker gives back to Connecticut community

Tyler Booker drops into pass protection against ULM

The Tyler Booker Football Camp for Youth was a huge hit for the New Haven, Connecticut community, and Booker is excited to build on this success for next year’s camp.

The camp was created by Booker as a way to share his love for the game with local kids whose position he was in not too long ago.  This Youth camp took place Saturday, May 20 from 11 am-3 pm EDT at Hopkins School in Booker’s hometown of New Haven. All student-athletes in grades 5-8 were able to participate in the free youth football camp, and many high school and college coaches were in attendance to lend a helping hand to the young athletes. Family and friends were also encouraged to show up and give their support to the athletes, and despite the downpour of rain, spectators had a wonderful time.

Booker in his freshman year at Alabama, saw action in 12 games and was named Freshman All-SEC Team by the league coaches, he was also selected as a Freshman All-American by Pro Football Focus. Going into the 2023 season he is slotted to be the Crimson Tide’s starting left guard, but his versatility will allow him to also play some right guard if need be.
