Nick Saban begins his push toward a seventh national championship for Alabama this summer.

He enjoyed taking time in Italy and visiting Capitol Hill to discuss name, image, and likeness, but the 71-year-old returned to his favorite element on Tuesday. He was coaching the youth at his annual football camp at Thomas-Drew Fields. Before having the campers perform drills, he got on the ground and exercised with them. Saban executed his sit-ups as well as the campers, and maybe better than his players. He continues to defy Father Time by staying in great shape. He often jokes to reporters and his players about how “they don’t make them like they used to.” Saban is one of a kind with a keen focus on being his best.

Alabama has a tough schedule to maneuver in 2024 as it hosts Georgia and travels to Oklahoma.

Before it becomes part of a division-less Southeastern Conference, it wants to undercut the Bulldogs’ moment with a College Football Playoff National Championship in the fall. Saban is locked in on getting the job done this time around.
