Quinnen Williams talked about the lessons he learned from Nick Saban during a recent interview on “The Pivot” podcast.
Williams was a member of the Crimson Tide’s football team from 2016 to 2018. He was drafted by the New York Jets in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He dove into the lessons Saban taught him during the interview.

“Everything I do now is through Coach Saban,” Williams said. “The mindset. It’s funny ’cause I was telling Brick the other day, like they was like, bring the juice, bring the juice. And I’m like, yo, I never heard of that. Like, that’s some NFL shit. I never heard bring the juice. Alabama is like, you either come to work or stay at home like, right. And that’s my mindset when I step on the field, like I’m here at work. I’m here to work. I’m here to get everybody better around me, and I’m here to get better. So, that mindset and just play the next play, it’s just every single thing, every single aspect that he instilled still with me to this day, the mentality, the hardworking aspect, just everything man. When it comes down to being a professional, it is like on the field, off the field, a lot of that he taught me and instilled in me.”
