After the game, Coach Saban had a hilarious interaction with one of his former players. Aaron Anderson, a Louisiana native, came into the Crimson Tide’s 2022 recruiting class as an explosive five-star wide receiver. Anderson would transfer back home after the 2022 campaign and join the Tigers. Saban met up with him at midfield and told him he would be playing more for the Tide.
“You’d be playing more here than you are there.”

Anderson has 12 receptions for 59 yards at LSU, but he did not record a catch against Alabama.
The Tide is now 8-1 and in full control of the SEC Western Division.
