Betrand, a former Texas A&M player, came in the Aggies’ top-ranked 2022 signing class. He entered the portal on Dec. 23, and has given his commitment to Alabama. The 6-foot-6, 342-pounder was a three-star recruit from Northeast High School in Philadelphia, Pa. He has four years of eligibility remaining, possessing the size of an offensive tackle but could also play guard.

Betrand becomes the third player Alabama has pulled from the portal and second former Texas A&M athlete to join the Tide.
Alabama now has Betrand, LT Overton (former TAMU edge rusher), and Domani Jackson (former USC defensive back).
