Alabama’s notable weight changes from 2024 offseason into fall camp

The University of Alabama had its fifth session of fall camp Tuesday, but several players on offense and defense experienced notable weight changes in the offseason.

Alabama wants to have a dominant team on both sides of the ball.

Kalen DeBoer, a first-year head coach for the Crimson Tide, is excited about the team he inherited from Nick Saban, but he is putting his stamp on the group. He has instituted morning practices and allowed more access to the viewing media.

Tide fans are growing with excitement about this team. The most notable weight changes for players are below.

Weight changes on defense

-Keon Keeley: 277 (+35)

-Jeremiah Beaman: 296 (+31)

-LT Overton: 283 (+18)

-Zabien Brown: 196 (+16)

-Jihaad Campbell: 244 (+14)

-DeVonta Smith: 205 (+11)

-Red Morgan: 186 (+11)

-Deontae Lawson: 239 (+9)

-Qua Russaw: 251 (+9)

-Justin Jefferson: 228 (+3)

-Jeremiah Alexander: 232 (-17)

-Richard Young: 216 (+16)

-Parker Brailsford: 290 (+15)

-Caleb Odom: 227 (+12)

-Josh Cuevas: 251 (+12)

-Ryan Williams: 175 (+10)

-Kadyn Proctor: 369 (+9)

-Kendrick Law: 209 (+8)

-Jam Miller: 218 (+7)

-Germie Bernard: 209 (+6)

-Justice Haynes: 210 (+5)

-CJ Dippre: 262 (+5)

-Robbie Ouzts: 270 (+5)

People may be concerned about Kadyn Proctor adding nine pounds in the offseason; however, it was rumored that he was 380 pounds entering Alabama as a freshman. He is moving much better at 369 and looks to have cut some body fat.
