It didn’t take long for Nick Saban to have a viral moment during his second week on the job for College GameDay.
During a segment in which the crew discussed Ohio State reportedly spending $20 million in NIL for its 2024 roster, Saban kept things brutally honest when sharing his thoughts.
“I just wanna say you guys keep talking about a $20 million roster,” Saban said. “I just wanna say if you don’t pay the right guys you’ll be shit outta luck.”

The table erupted in laughter along with the rest of the internet, even if a portion of the alleged $20 million was spent to lure former Crimson Tide players Caleb Downs, Julian Sayin and Seth McLaughlin up to Columbus.
