Jalen Milroe explains why he feels confident ahead of matchup with Tennessee

Alabama football’s quarterback, Jalen Milroe is in good spirits ahead of the Tide’s road game against Tennessee.

Milroe and the Crimson Tide are 5-1 ahead of the highly-anticipated game. The Tennessee Volunteers come into the matchup with an identical record as both teams have struggled in their last two games.

Milroe is feeling confident in his teammates ahead of the storied rivalry despite the Tide’s latest outings.

“I feel Confident,” Milroe said. “We have a lot of guys in the locker room that acknowledge the rivalry, acknowledge what it takes to win, acknowledge all the hard work that needs to be done during the week so that we can put our best foot forward when it comes to this Saturday. Definitely a great week to be prepared, understand our assignment, and just have a lot of fun. Because this is going to be a lot of fun, playing in games like this, especially for all of us. So, it’s all about locking in today and being the best version of ourselves.”

The game will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CST from Neyland Stadium and will be broadcast on ESPN.
