NIL continues to change the landscape in college football for athletes on the gridiron, off the gridiron and even in video games.
This is the case yet again as multiple Alabama players have signed with Pathway Sports and Entertainment.
The company was founded by Casey Schwab.

Alabama is one of six schools to have athletes sign with the company, along with Georgia, Illinois, Wisconsin, Oregon, and Texas Tech, pere ESPN’s Pete Thamel. Each player receives $1,500 for their name, image, and likeness in video games such as this summer’s upcoming EA College Football 26 release. That’s more than double what each athlete earned upon the releases of EA College Football 25.
Pathway Sports and Entertainment’s goal is to eventually sign up every FBS school in the country.
Schwab calls this ‘the largest commercial program for college athletes in history’ with aims to ‘be the first group to actually negotiate directly with the video game makers on behalf of the group,’ per Thamel.
