Tuscaloosa 2026 LB says Alabama offer has ‘big impact’ on recruitment

Syndication: The Montgomery Advertiser. Prattville’s Christian Alexander (2) is stopped by Hillcrest's Zay Hall (1) during their game in Wetumpka, Ala., on Thursday evening October 17, 2024.

Zay Hall picked up an offer from Alabama football on Wednesday.

Hall is a product of Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, making this a hometown offer. Most recruiting sites consider the linebacker to be a three-star recruit at the moment.

Earning an offer from the Tide marked a significant moment in Hall’s recruitment.

“This offer means a lot,” Hall said. “I think Alabama is one of the best programs ever. It’s nothing they are lacking.

The rising senior feels Alabama will now play a major role in his recruitment with the offer.

“It has a big impact on my recruitment,” Hall told Touchdown Alabama.

The Tide are now eyeing getting Hall back on campus for an official visit this month. Next weekend is target date at the moment.

The 6-foot-3, approximately 220-pounder is projected to be an inside linebacker at the next level. He excels at sifting through traffic and seeking out ball carriers with the ability to play sideline to sideline.
