Kar’Moniy Gibbs is showing he has the potential to be a late riser in the 2027 recruiting class.

Gibbs is a 2027 linebacker prospect, and he attends LeFlore High School in Alabama. He does not hold a power four offer at the moment, but he is receiving interest for the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Alabama recently invited Gibbs out to watch the Tide open the season against East Carolina on Sept. 5 and meet the Alabama coaching staff.

Gibbs is looking forward to the visit.

“I honestly can’t speak enough words about Alabama,” Gibbs said. “I’ve loved the school and been a fan since I was about five. The atmosphere at Bryant-Denny is astonishing. I’ve toured the school before when my cousin was a student, and it was amazing. The campus is beautiful.”

Earning an offer from Alabama is something Gibbs has dreamed of.

“If God ever gives the word and pushes the opportunity to attend Alabama into my light, I’d be complete as a man,” Gibbs said. “It’s been my dream school. They have been the best school my who life, and who wouldn’t wanna bleed Crimson?”

At 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds, Gibbs fits the mold of a long and athletic hybrid linebacker prospect. He displays a high motor and plays fast for the Rattlers at linebacker. It is easy to see there is potential for Gibbs to play at the next level.
