David Pollack, who starred as a defender for Georgia while in college, feels Alabama football is back and is scary good this season.

Pollack spoke highly of the Crimson Tide on “See Ball Get Ball.”

“Y’all remember when y’all said that Alabama was gone, and they were dead, and Indiana beat the dog mess out of them cause they did,” Pollack said. “Georgia beat the crap out of them. They’re coming for you. To think about Alabama a year ago, with the 13th pick in the draft offensively. And now you put in this young cat, who hasn’t played, who is infinitely better than the guy that was the 13th pick in the draft. And listen, that’s not a knock on Ty Simpson. What Keelon Russell can do, it’s got special written all over it. Keelon’s IQ, and Keelon’s ability to put the football where he wants to put the football a lot of times, is absolutely asinine. Kalen De Boer has been a great coach. Has he done an elite job? No. Has he had the hardest job on the planet? Yes. to jump in, replace a whole roster that left, and to replace that guy that left, that continues to be a huge shadow. It’s been an unbelievable job, and now this is his team. Alabama was never broken. That’s just a program that just is going to always come back.”

Alabama is expected to take on the Georgia Bulldogs Saturday in Tuscaloosa. Kickoff for the top-10 matchup is set for 6:30 p.m. CT, and the game will be broadcast on ABC.
