BREAKING: Jalen Hurts to miss rest of the season due to blood clots

Jalen Hurts is expected to miss the rest of the 2026-2027 NFL season after doctors discovered multiple blood clots in his lungs, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The former Alabama quarterback was reportedly in the hospital earlier this season and could not sleep before the Eagles played in London.

“Before the London game, Hurts was in the hospital until 4 am and did not sleep because sleep was a risk. He played without having slept,” ESPN NFL Insider Ian Rapoport posted to X.

Hurts was drafted by the Eagles after playing college football at Alabama and Oklahoma.

Hurts’ agent Nicole Lynn said Hurts is expected to make a full recovery.
