BREAKING: Alabama legacy DB not with the team at the moment

Alabama head football coach Kalen DeBoer confirmed to reporters at the Monday Morning Quarterback Club that defensive back Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. is no longer with the team.

Kirkpatrick Jr. was suspended ahead of the Texas A&M-Alabama game. This is the second time he’s been suspended in his collegiate career.

“He’s not with us,” DeBoer said. “We have an expectation and standard in our program, and the team rules, and things that go along with that. There’s still some details that I’m trying to understand, but it’s enough to where we know that’s not how we operate.”

According to Tuscaloosa News and AL.com, there are court documents that show that Kirkpatrick Jr. was arrested on Friday and charged with doxxing and harassing communications, both of which are misdemeanor charges.
