A week after holding a youth football camp in his hometown of Macon, Ga., Houston Texans cornerback Kareem Jackson fulfilled another commitment over the weekend.
The former Alabama standout married his long-time girlfriend, Amber Deville, on Saturday in Missouri City, Texas. Jackson, a member of the Crimson Tide’s 2009 national championship team, posted several photos to social media in honor of the event. He enters his seventh season in the National Football League this fall, posting 337 career tackles, 12 interceptions (56 passes defended), two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and two defensive touchdowns in six years.

The 5-foot-10, 188-pound defender was one of few major components for Houston in 2015.
He finished with 58 tackles (fifth on team), while adding a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, two interceptions and a defensive touchdown to his credit in 12 regular-season games. Jackson guided the Texans to a 9-7 record, culminating in an AFC South Division crown and a playoff berth.
