It has been 10 months since Cam Robinson has seen action for the Jacksonville Jaguars, but hopefully the second-round pick of the 2017 NFL Draft will be ready this season.
As the team starts training camp, its offensive tackle will be on the “physically unable to perform” or PUP list – according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Robinson sustained an anterior cruciate ligament tear to his knee in week two against the New England Patriots on Sept. 17, 2018 and would miss the rest of the year.
He started all 17 games in his rookie season (2017), helping the Jaguars win the AFC South and clinch a playoff berth for the first time in a decade. Robinson propelled Leonard Fournette to a 1,000-yard rushing year.

Prior to the NFL, he was a five-star at Alabama from 2014-16.
A native of Monroe, La., Robinson started 44 games at left tackle and cleared the way for seven 500+ yard rushers. He assisted both Derrick Henry and Damien Harris to 1,000-yard seasons, while guiding Henry to a 2,000-yard campaign (2,219) and the Heisman Trophy in 2015.

Robinson was exceptional in pass protection, navigating both Blake Sims (3,487) and Jacob Coker (3,110) to 3,000-yard passing seasons in 2014 and 2015.
Along with being a three-time Southeastern Conference champion (2014-16) and a College Football Playoff National Champion in 2015, Robinson was an All-American, first-team All-SEC selection, Outland Trophy winner and SEC’s Jacobs Blocking Trophy winner in 2016.
After quarterback and defensive end, left tackle is the third most important position in the professional game.
Jacksonville has a stud in Robinson; however, it has to keep him healthy.
