Alabama needs to start Christian Barmore on its DL now

Cedric Mason - Touchdown Alabama Magazine

Alabama fans are enamored with him for more than just his sack dance.

When you watch him play, he instantly puts you in the mindset of defensive linemen that Nick Saban coached from 2009 to 2016, and his style embraces the likes of Marcell Dareus, A’Shawn Robinson, Jarran Reed, Dalvin Tomlinson, Jonathan Allen and possibly, Da’Ron Payne.

Not only does he want to be on the field, but he also desires to make an impact.

In moments when he is not in action, you will see him become very anxious on the sideline and teammates have to console him. Upon talking to players about him, yours truly of Touchdown Alabama Magazine is always hit with these three terms: energy, tone setter and electric.

The topic of discussion is Christian Barmore and versus LSU on last week, he was one of very few bright spots on defense.
