Andy Pappanastos has recently joined the “Girl Dad” club.
On Tuesday, the former University of Alabama placekicker welcomed a healthy baby girl at 9:36 p.m.
His wife, Aubrey, gave birth to Peyton Marie Pappanastos, and the two Crimson Tide alums could not be happier.
Peyton Marie Pappanastos, born at 9:36pm on June 29. @aubbob4 and I are grateful, humbled, and overwhelmed to be this girl’s parents. We pray that she lives a life of magnifying God and loving others. Couldn’t be more proud of her mama… over the past 9 mo. she has been amazing! pic.twitter.com/nw6OXfUvgO

Both started their collegiate journeys at the University of Mississippi, but Andy transferred to Alabama in 2016. He was the starting kicker in 2017, making 18 of 25 field goals and all 56 PAT attempts. Pappanastos made two field goals in the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship Game versus Georgia. Aubrey was on the volleyball team at Ole Miss and served as a volunteer assistant for Alabama’s team. She earned a master’s degree from the University in Elementary Education.
