Depending on who you ask about last Saturday’s victory over the LSU Tigers for the Alabama Crimson Tide, one may receive varying responses and feelings about what actually transpired. While the Tide escaped the grasps of Death Valley Stadium in a defensive struggle ending in a 10-0 shutout, many were pleased with the Tide’s ability to hold the LSU offense to 125 yards of total offense and zero points after they had looked like an entirely different team under Ed Orgeron since the dismissal of Les Miles averaging over 500 yards in its last three games. On the other hand, others felt the lack of offense, even against an elite defense such as LSU’s may be enough of a reason to pause and wonder just how far this Alabama team can go moving forward.
